First Impression?

So far in the novel, Nora seems to be like a childish spoiled compulsive liar. She accepts that here husband treats her like a child. She also sees herself ravishing, going on about how she will never become ugly. When a childhood friend comes over, all she can speak of is her perfect life while her friend barley makes it. When her friend tells her that she doesn't understand the pain of a normal life she becomes offended and speaks about how she once saved her husbands life. When he was bedridden, Nora said she was able to collect enough money and make him healthy. How? I will just have to keep reading and see.

  2. Well, Nora tries to save her husband's life by taking a loan from Krogstad. She also is starting to prove to everyone that she doesn't need the help of a man in order to survive in the out side world. However now she needs to convince he husband to not fire Krogstad in order to save her self from getting into trouble.

  3. Yes Halah I agree with your comment Nora was only looking in the best interest for her family not knowing the hardships later on in her life. She is now being black mailed and i feel a little sorry for her. We have to wait and see how much trouble or if any shes going to get into.I guess it goes back to the old saying the road to hell is paved with Good intentions!

  4. Yes, i agree with you guys, especially you Halah. She was doing this with the best interest of her family. But does her husband know what she had done for him? Does he even acknowledge her for her attempt at rescuing him? (Which she succeed in doing) should she still accept the fact she is called a scatter brain because of her actions?
